OMExpo: Emerging Services in a Budding Market

Last week I had the opportunity to represent Direct Agents for the first time at OMExpo Madrid, a leading digital marketing event in Spain. With the growth of both the European and Spanish/Portuguese speaking digital marketplace, it was important that Direct Agents participate in this digital marketing show.

As one of only a handful of US based companies to exhibit at the show, I was given the opportunity to share with attendees from all over the world the international reach and presence that Direct Agents has. In addition, as part of our conference experience, VP of Advertising Sales of Direct Agents, Megan Conahan, was able to address conference attendees on the importance of email marketing in her session titled “Boost Your Email CPA Distribution and Learn Strategies to Increase Your Results.”

The size of the OMExpo Madrid show was matched by the passion for online marketing of its attendees…huge! With over 10,000 people in attendance, comprised of the conference’s global vendors, service providers, advertisers and publishers, our booth was constantly busy with both current customers and new prospects eager to learn more about how Direct Agents can help them focus their online marketing efforts.

Without a doubt our booth and attendance at the show was a surprise to many people walking the floor. “Americans?” was an expression we heard often from booth visitors. However, our presence, distribution area and client list gave validity to Direct Agents’ commitment to growth in the global market and eased the minds of potential partners who typically work with local vendors.

After the conclusion of the show I walked away agreeing with my coworkers that Spain is a growing market that needs more full service performance-based offerings and that Direct Agents will be able to grow with and focus on the challenges that face our international partners.
