Founded in 2005 Only Finance is the UK’s fastest growing consumer website for comparing loan, mortgage, insurance & credit card products. With their Insurance division, enjoying record growth of 50% from December 2006 to February 200, the Only Group is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s fastest growing internet-based companies.
Approach
In an effort to grow the Only group’s life insurance leads, Direct Agents implemented an aggressive Cost Per Lead media buying strategy across its publisher network. Focus has remained on email publishers that have the ability to target the key life insurance demographic - 35 years and older, high income earners. Direct Agents account managers work closely with Only Finance to monitor conversion activity for each placement and optimize the campaign performance.
Results
Within three months of the campaign launch, the monthly lead volume has grown to over 650 new policy applicants. The client has reported very strong lead quality, with a high percentage of the leads consistently converting into new confirmed policies.
Next Steps
2008 initiatives include the launch of Compareandcover.co.uk, which will serve as additional lead distribution channel for Only Finance. Other initiatives include the launching a personal loans lead generation program and also growing the life insurance program across other lead distribution channels.
